If you're thinking about working together, these are the questions most people have before they reach out- covering everything from how the content process works, to what it costs, to whether we're actually the right fit for each other.
It depends on how we work together... If we're doing the thinking together, drawing out your actual perspective and language, have content you have already written to draw from, yes. If you hand me a brief and disappear, it'll be closer, but not quite there. The process is built around getting your voice into the work properly.
Usually when content feels off, it's because the brief was too thin or the person writing it was executing without really understanding the thinking behind the work. What I do differently is spend time on the strategy layer first- understanding how you think, what you're actually trying to say, and why it matters- before anything gets written.
Somewhere in between, and I'll be upfront about that. The best content comes from you being involved enough that your thinking is in it- that might be a monthly conversation, reviewing drafts, or sharing your reactions to things you're seeing in your industry. What you won't need to do is manage the process or figure out what to post each week.
That depends what you mean by results. If you mean enquiries or opportunities, that varies hugely depending on your audience and how established your presence already is. If you mean content that feels coherent and genuinely represents you- that tends to happen quite quickly once the strategy foundations are in place. What I'd say is that this is a long-game approach, and if you're looking for a quick spike, I'm probably not the right fit.
There's a small team behind the scenes- content, design, strategy support, data and research... they're lovely freelancers who support me when I need specialist experts or there is a lot to create- but I'm the one you'll work with directly. You won't find yourself three months in wondering who's actually running your account.
I don't have fixed packages listed because the work varies depending on what you actually need. My starting point is always understanding what you're trying to achieve before we talk about investment- so the best next step is a conversation. If budget is a genuine concern, say so early and I'll be straight with you about whether there's a way to make it work. But to give you a ballpark figure, packages that include content AND outreach opportunities and community management start at £990 per month.
You probably already have a sense from reading this far 🙂. The people I work best with tend to care more about how things are said than how many posts go out, they're not looking for the cheapest option, and they want a thinking partner more than a task executor. If that sounds like you, a conversation is the obvious next step. (get in touch if you'd like to chat about it).
